Incentive Emissions

What are incentive emissions for?

We’ve allocated 50% of the supply as incentives to encourage adoption of our protocol. These emissions will enhance the APY for both token holders and individuals who deposit funds for lending.

Emissions will start higher while we bootstrap the protocol as a way to encourage use and reward our early adopters.

Emission schedule: The team will control the emission schedule by striking a balance of making the APR attractive enough to get deposits and build total value locked (TVL) while also ensuring there is no run away inflation that will devalue the token for our holders.

The beginning emissions will be highest and lower as time goes on and people start to trust the protocol more and more.

As soon as the protocol reaches a point where bootstrapping is no longer needed and is self sustaining through revenue we will stop emissions and burn whatever amount is remaining.
