50% of the revenue generated through borrowing is distributed directly to the users who stake $NOVA. Both lenders and borrowers receive $NOVA rewards to incentivize protocol use and bootstrap liquidity.

Nova liquidity mining has a different mechanism for claiming rewards. Rewards are vested for 90 days, but may be claimed immediately for a 50% penalty as previously said.

If claimed immediately; the penalty is then distributed to users who choose to lock $NOVA for 3 months. This mechanism ensures steady rewards for those who actively commit to the protocol by locking their tokens.
